Creatures of the Night Video

More video from my Cozumel dive trip. This video is of creatures encountered on the reef during night diving.

Hope you enjoy!

Very nice video. What kind of camera are you using? You did a great job keeping steady. I enjoyed watching the video cant wait to see more video.

I am using a JVC MG-730 digital camcorder (SD, not HD) in a Ikelite housing, along with a 100 watt Ikelite Pro Video-Lite 3 lighting system. I do my best to keep the camera steady, but I have to admit to a little help in the editing process as well.

As to wanting to see more, you'll have to wait till I finish the editing, then purchase the video. It will be available soon for around $15.00 - $20.00.

My friend, we MUST get you to blue water! I am off to the Texas Flower Gardens in about 2 weeks, aboard the MV Fling. I believe there is still a seat or two open on that trip. Or if not then, we also have a FG trip going out in late October. The cost isn't all that high.... around $500.00 or so.

Well I would love to go and I have researched the flower gardens before. The problem is I would have to pay for 2 as my wife also dives and I think she would kill me if I didn't take her. I think that would be grounds for divorce in her book! We just don't have the money right now for such a trip. We spent our savings that we were planning on using for a dive trip on a boat, so we are having to start over on our trip fund savings. Hopefully next spring we will be able to go somewhere.

One of the nice things about working for a dive shop (PT as an instructor) is that I hear about the trips early, reserve my spot, and get to pay for the trip over the course of a few months. I understand how it is with finances these days. I tend to save a bit all year for my annual Cozumel trips.
