Hello! My name is Anthony and I am new to the forum. I havent been in the water for over 2 years due to military deployments and such, but I'm actually taking a refresher course on Thursday night. I'm also new to Washington and I hear there is some pretty good diving in my area. So, hopefully I will be able to find some people in the area that enjoy being in the water as much as I do. I would love for anyone to share their diving experiences with me, especially if you were submerged in my area!

Welcome, I have been to and had a couple dives in Puget Sound at Edmond's Underwater Park. It is a great place to dive. Water temps around 52* F about all the time.
There is a great group of folks that dive the Sound. It has a large dive community and it will be easy for you to hook up with a diver or group. The diving is great also, there are a lot of things there that you will never see in Atlantic waters. I know one or two good divers there that dive nearly everyday of the year. |

Yeah I think I will be able to get involved around here. My next plan of action is deciding on a suit. I know the waters around here can get kinda chilly. So I'm either gona get a 7mm 2 piece wetsuit, a semidry suit, or a dry suit. I've been pricing stuff and who knows what I'm gona do. But from what I'm hearing the local surface temps are between 45-55 on average
