Checkout Pool?

I haven't been diving for 5 years, going to Cozumel next week!

Anyone know of a local pool to try check out stuff in? I just had my BC and reg serviced, I just want to double check. Does scubatoys have a pool? - can I use that? (i'm in Dallas)

New to the forums, first post! - sorry if this has already been answered 20 times

I have heard that ST will let you demo stuff in their pool but not sure if the are open to letting you bring your stuff.

Give ST a call and explain what you're trying to do (refresher, right?). I'm sure that something can be worked out to satisfy everyone.

For that matter, you could go to Terrell TX and enjoy the refreshing waters of Clear Springs Scuba Park, where many OW students get their start.

The link to CSSP:

Clear Spring Scuba Park is "clearly" different

If you haven't dove on 5 years, please take a refresher course. You'll be happier and safer.

Besides, you can check out your gear at the same time you refresh your skills.

I got busy, not time for a pool, but I decided to schedule a shallow refresher dive when I get to Cozumel.

Thanks for all the replies! this forum rocks, I'll post photos when I return!
