Going to Cozumel - Scuba Forum

Hi,
I'm a relatively new diver with just 13 dives, mostly in Nassau. We are going to Mexico for the first time and have heard a lot about Cozumel. I would like to try Cozumel and also the Cenote's. Anyone with recent first hand experience on Dive operators in the area? I'm looking for a recommendation.

Lots of good dive operators in COZ. I used Dive with Martin the only time I was there (based upon advice of my OW instructor). They were good -- it was my son's and my first dives after OW class, so they tailored the dive sites to meet our limited experience. If you are staying downtown, the won't pick you up so factor that in. They will pick you up at other hotels that have piers.

I didn't have any issue with them, but next time I'll go I'm planing on trying someone else just for comparison purposes.

I've used Dive Paradise/Hotel Cozumel. Convenient, as the dock is right across the street. Lodging was fair considering the price.

I went to Coz for my first dives after OW. We stayed at Hotel Cozumel and dove with Dive Paradise also, and were very happy!
