Hello From Dallas

Hey guys, my name is Adam. I live in the Dallas / Plano area. I've been certified since 2003, and try to make it to somewhere in the Carribean at least once a year. I should go to CSSP more than I do, but I've been slacking lately. Maybe finding this board with you other guys that love diving will help me get the motivation to drag my butt out of bed on Saturdays and go up there.

Good to have you on board! We just built a new covered pavilion out there, so any weekend stop on by! We always have some folks that are just divers looking to get wet - besides our students. Come blow some bubbles and chase some fish!

Welcome to the boards Adam! I try to go to CSSP at least once a month and I know that there are several others here that go a lot. Just ask if anyone is going and there will be several replies!

Bienvenido!
I've been to CSSP only 2 times, but am trying to make it a routine. Hope to see you there soon!

Welcome Adam -- if you keep on eye on the SouthWest forum you will find lots of people planning dives at CSSP or other local sites. The water is not "blue" per se, but it is still wet

I need to get out to CSSP sometime again soon as well. I haven't made up any of my infamous Brats or Fajitas for my fellow swampers in a while. So, decide when you want to go up and we'll see if we can get a group together.

I can attest to the quality (and quantity) of TxHockeyGuy's cooking. I'm booked the next two weekends, but the 18th / 19th is open if you want to plan around my schedule.

I believe we have the makings of another swampers get together. I'm thinking of just doing the one day and not an entire weekend, probably Saturday. If others are interested we'll have to post in the southwest forum here and the TSD forum over on SB.

For those not aware there is a subforum over at ScubaBoard.com called the Texas Swamp Divers of which myself, Illini_Fan, foo2, and many others here are members of.
