We are just completing our PADI course here in Ottawa, Canada.
Still too frozen to do the open water, but we are looking forward to May to finish the Open Water course.

where will you be doing your OW? in Canada or will you be going someplace tropical in May?

Unfortunately, we will be doing our Open Water dive on the St. Lawrence at Brockville. Going to be chilly. Our hope is to do some travelling in within the next couple of years.

just be forewarned.. you get in that warm Caribbean water too soon and it spoils you to just about anything else

well... it did ME anyway!

Welcome to the forum. Weather changes and you will be having fun soon enough. Just think, there aren't many people that can ice skate to the dive site...
