Welcome to the board. I had to laugh when I saw your ID. That says it all about AL. I used to work in Huntsville, and still have many friends over that way.

Welcome to the board! You're not too far north of Florida. Your wife may not like quarry diving, but she should try Florida spring diving. Clear water and much warmer than the quarry (at least during most of the year). Let me know when you decide to head down to the panhandle and we can hit some of the local water holes.

Hi everyone,
It has been a little bit since I posted. We went on a cruise in early May and once we got back I got overloaded with work. We met these two guys from Colorado (and their wives) that were great. They were doing their cert dives on the cruise and finished in Grand Turk. I only wish I got their email. We told them about this forum and I hope they show up here. My wife got one dive in St Thomas and plans to finish up this summer. She is is practicing with her equipment at the house every day now when we get home from work. She has gotten determined to get her c-card this time around even tho she still has some anxiety (a lot less than when she first tried). Anyway, we are home and I hope to have more time to post here as things settle down. And just maybe our buddies from the cruise will pop up here and drop us a line. |
