Hello from the Space Coast of Florida

I live in Central Florida on the coast, dive mainly out of Canaveral. Looking forward to sharing and learning.

Welcome to the board! I used to live in Satellite Beach. Now that I started diving, I've been wondering how diving is out there?

I've never been diving over there, but my folks would rent a condo on Satellite beach for the winters and I've spent the last dozen Christmas's there. Seen a lot of surfers and dolphins swimming by, but not many divers!

Good to have you on the board!

I grew up in Indian Harbor Beach and graduated from Satellite High many years ago. Diving out of Canaveral can be challenging in the summer time. We get a cold water upwelling and vis turns to crap. When we can get out in the winter time diving is much better. Warmer water and better vis. Also makes for better hunting.
