New Diver in AZ

Hello. My name is Dan, and I have recently achieved my open water certification. I ended up using Salva Vida Scuba here in Arizona and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in continuing their diving. I will finish up this weekend with my rescue diver class, and will be looking to go diving as much as I can before my first scheduled dive trip in Honduras this summer.

Hey Dan welcome to the board and welcome to diving! Are there many places to dive in AZ? I'm down that way often and being from UT (where there are very few places to dive) it would be nice to know of some dive locations that I could drop on in while on "business" trips

Wow, just got OW certified and jumping right into rescue diving. Sounds like you've got a plan going.

We have lake Pleasant to dive in until the summer when the boaters start to get out of hand. And we are only a 5 hr drive to Mexico or San Diego/Los Angeles.

Southwest Scuba

It's due for an update, which I'll probably do this summer when I'm there. But it gives you some information in the meantime.
