just saying hi to one and all. been diving since the early 1980's. padi divemaster,wreck diver,ocean diver,deep diver,advanced,o/w,and I own my own compressor.
followed a session on metal detectors but got lost registering. I own a 1280x and a pulse 8 detectors. both are great. the 1280x has paid for itself about 3-5 times over. the pulse 8 is new to me but it will go deep. found a few things my 1280 missed. 2.5 feet for a hubcap no problem. the 1280 has discrimination but I dont use it. why ? because something good just might be under that beer can or rusty piece of iron. bought both used to save cash. the 1280 was $250.00 the pulse 8 was $800.00. no regrets on either of them. |
