Is FL really a good place for diving? If so how is it on the East side (Miami area) during November? I come out there every year around that time to catch a Dolphins game.

I am in Ozark, MO I am also new to the sport and new to this forum; I have 3 divers in my neighborhood and I am trying to increase communication bewteen us so we can get more dives in this year.

I would'nt really know how the diving is in Florida, but I'm vacationing there this year and plan to dive in Pensicola. The last dive I made you couldn't see much past five feet, so I would guess anything past that has to be mind blowing.
In reference to DiverMike I'm doing the same type of thing. I can't seem to find anyone who actually dives around here, either they have given it up or they know someone who knows someone. It's rather frustrating at the moment.

Welcome to the board. There are quite a few of us in here from the midwest. We try to let everyone know when we are going to be someplace diving, so if anyone in here needs a buddy you can always join in.

My normal dive buddy lives out near you in Washington, and I think that him and I are going to dive New Melle this comming Sun. If you want to come out you would be welcome...

About what time will you be going
I'm an usher at my church and have to be there. I can make an after noon dive.

They are open from 8am to 6pm on Sun, I plan to be there from about 8am until about 3 or 4.
