Michigan Diver

Hello All!

I am a relatively new diver from the lower peninsula of Michigan. Our group regularly dives the quarries in Ohio (Gilboa, Whitestar etc) along with local inland lakes. I just started wreck diving last fall, with my best dive to date being on the Cedarville in the Straits of Mackinaw. That boat, and the Bradley were from my home town of Rogers City, Michigan, and I remember both sinkings and the friends whose father's didn't make it back. Diving that wreck was almost a religious experience for me.

Dive Safe!

Welcome, fellow Michigander. You still in Rogers City, or somewhere else?

Welcome from a U.P. Diver... We were at the Cedarville last weekend along with the Young, Ward and Sandusky. How did you like the Cedarville?? I've dove countless wrecks and penetrated many but the Cedarville is just one of those that gives me the willies.... I think its because the bottom blends with the water??
