Joined because I was trying to get the 'Wish List' thing on ST's main site to work. Still haven't figured that out.

I'm 32, got my OW certification back in '95 - Grand Cayman was my first dive. Nice way to start, eh? I haven't picked up my AOW yet, but I currently have my girlfriend in classes at WWDive out in Humble, TX for her OW cert. We'll be heading to Jamaica in August for a week, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to read up on new gear, etc. in the forums.

Plus, it looks like I might get an additional 10% off my upcoming purchase of (2) Oceanic Geo wrist computers, just for being a member. Score! (I think I've settled on the Geo, but that's for another thread)

I guess that's about it. Oh, I also like long moonlit walks on the beach, mud between my toes, and mushing up my ice cream - if you like the tmi version.

welcome - yep the 10% is cool, even better if you live out of state.

It saves me tax and 2.5% - but it is worth it to have ST as my LDS .
