Chesapeake VA Here

Hi All,

My sis and I just finished up the confined water part of the PADI Open Water Course. Even though we are in our fiftys we feel light as a feather and young as......oh I dunno just young, while we are in the water. Can't wait to get to the Open Water dives and then get to diving some more. The only thing I had problems with was the dive planner problems. I got so bumfangled trying to learn the planner. I understand how to use charts, and the purpose behind the charts, I just don't understand how to use the tool. Anyone have any helpful tips or hints? I figure practice, practice, practice until I get it right.

Thanks

Deb

Welcome Deb,

Where in Chesapeake? I moved to Florida from VA last year. I used to live off of Battlefield (Cedar Rd, just south of the drawbridge)

Welcome to the Board! My wife did it for me. She did the PADI and NAUI. I was forced to figure out the SSI by myself because I took it alone.

what agency is your scuba class with? if its PADI you should have received a little pink booklet with your package - go through that its excellent.

after that - get a computer! you'll never have to look at the tables again.
