probably depends on your budget and the type of diving that you anticipate doing.
I have a Brigade and it works perfect for me - I dive wet (7mm) in the quarry and do not think I will be adding a dry suit to the mix for awhile and doubles are a long ways off if you choose to go with the Brigade, down the road you could add a larger bladder if you need more lift than the 35 that comes with it. |

It depends what you want to do with it. Will you be using it to dive locally, or travel? What kind of gear do you expect to use with it.
They're very similar rigs, but the Brigade has a smaller wing. For most recreational diving, I think the Brigade is the way to go. |
