I am confused. I am Canadian but I am Australian. I am a land creature but I would rather be in the sea! I am a woman who hates to shop. I am more keen to dive than my husband. I would rather buy dive equipment than jewelry. I work so I can dive. A holiday without a dive is a waste. Any dive you come back from is a good dive. A dive where you get a few decent pictures is a good dive. When they ask me how I like my hair cut I say "Short enough that it doesn't get stuck in my mask." is there anyone else like me around here?

Welcome to the forum. Good to have another Aussie here (I'm not); you'll find a bunch a few Kiwis as well.

Hey I just can't be bothered with fussing to get hair out of the mask. Hmm crap viz???? We got that too. I did a dive where I put my hand on the bottom and couldn't see my hand but I got a few macro shots so it was worth it,
Two years ago at christmas we all sounded like seagulls. I was first to giant stride off the rock hit the water.... we had a cold current come in and dropped the water from 21 the weekend before to 15. I surface signaled Ok and warned it was cold. Next diver hit the water surfaced and screeched. Everyone had the same reaction! Quite funny really but we still did an hour and twenty and got shots of the Port Jackson Sharks mateing. They thought all the camera flashes where fireworks exploding I think but they never let it bother them. Well off to bed gotta work so we can afford the trip to Lady Elliott Island on Saturday Last edited by Bowlofpetunias : 07-29-2008 at 06:04 AM. |
