Hi from Salem, MO

Just joined the forum after purchasing 2 Oceanic Pro Plus 2's today. Great deal and great service from Joe himself.

Back from a Little Cayman trip last week. Sharks on about 10 of the 17 dives. GREAT TRIP. Have to go again quick to try out the new computers.

Well, happy diving.

Welcome to the board. Do you dive Table Rock or Beaver Lake often?

I've thought about driving down to Table Rock. Is it worth the trip? Looks cool on the web.

For me it's worth the trip, I'm 4 hours away from there or 5 hours away from Beaver Lake. It's pretty nice, beats quarries. The visibility above the thermocline isn't too hot, but below it opens up to maybe 20 feet.

There's a lot to do besides diving as well, Branson's a big tourist trap you know.

Welcome to the board from a fellow Missourian. I would agree with Matt that Tablerock is worth the drive. It certainly beats the quarries. I enjoy diving there.. It will not be as nice as the ocean but it is the closest you can get around here.

I enjoy beaver lake. Compared to everywhere else to dive around here anyways...

just takes a thicker wetsuit. vis normally 10-20 feet, sometimes up to 30

I've seen 40 feet there in Beaver Lake on New Years day, it's usually the clearest of lakes as well. For me Table Rock is closer and that's why I dive it more.
