Cool Hello from the middle of the pacific

I'm in the Navy and currently onboard the USS Fitzgerald in the middle of the Pacific. I haven't been diving since I left Cuba in March and I'm going though withdrawls. Anyway Hi to everyone. I'll post some pics from some of the dives I'll be doing soon.

Ryan

Most of my dives so far have been in GTMO. I'd have to say that was the best part of being in Cuba. bad vis days were 30 ft and I saw it at 200+ I've got good pics of turtles and played with octopuss. On one night dive to the slot at 90ft we came up on a nurse shark sleeping. I was able to get plenty of spiney tailed lobster. I shot a huge snapper sleeping in a sunken troop transport ship's engine compartment. I had alot of fun dives there. I guess thats why I went there twice.

Welcome to the board! I'd love to see some of those photos from Cuba. I suppose you aren't allowed to jump off the boat when it's in the ocean?

As soon as I can I'll put some pics up.

It's funny you should say Jumping off normally you get in big trouble for that. I've had a swim call 1 time in ten years. A lot goes into it. It would be great to be able to dive during one. Maybe someday.
