I'm a newbie also <20 dives. My setup is

MK25 / S555
oceanic slimline 2 - Scubatoys gave me an incredible deal I couldnt pass up
Volo power fins
-still havent decided on a BC yet..

I got certified in the Volo's are great. They fit my kick style very well. Big long kicks vs. short flurries that are required for split fins.
