Question greetings from round rock texas

hi...getting ready to head to Cozumel on Thursday...let me know if anyone has a preference for dive shops...went two years ago and used dive with Martin...sadly, Martin died a few months back......so, any recommendations?

also, I am looking to buy a new mask and fins...leaning toward the Mares X or Demon mask...and, the Mares Avanti super channel fin...however, would also consider the Aeirs full foot Velocity, but concerned about fit..

any ideas out there? will be only my second dive trip and don't want to rent these things...

thanks!

Welcome, to the board and have a great trip to Cozumel! I have used Blue Angel Divers on a couple of trips down there. I have no complaints about them. Fast boats, knowledgeable dive guides.

We used Eagle Ray Divers for our first SCUBA experienced and LOVED it. It's what got us hooked.

Cozumel Paradise

Dive Paradise was outstanding-- they went out to the less crowded sites & always provided a guide who knew where the sea-life was (like Chankanab). Safety was always important...dbsea

Welcome to ST ridingo! We just went to Coz in July. We used Blue XT Sea Diving when we went. The owner is Christi. She is actually a Texan that relocated to Cozumel cause she loves it there. Her DM's are great! We had Arturo and he took good care of us. He let us have 55 min dives and if someone was low on air he buddied them up with the person with the least amount of air and sent them up together so everybody else could empty their tanks. It was a lot of fun and if you do have to rent any gear, she has nice equipment at reasonable prices. PM me if you have any questions.
