Hi everyone, I'm newly certified, and am looking forward to a fat logbook! I live in Garland Tx, work in Carrollton, have a husband who's afraid of the water, and 2 kids still too young to dive.

lol, thanks! He's more of a land person (biking, camping etc) than a beach or water person. But oh well, at least he showers!!

Welcome to the board! I'm in the same boat as you, my girlfriend doesn't really like the water -- I wish she would dive with me, but I would never try and force her to do something she doesn't want to. She just wouldn't be a good buddy if she didn't enjoy it.
