Hello from Puerto Rico

Hello all from Puerto Rico,

The name here is Frank and i am 34 years old. I currently live here on the island but am dying to get back stateside. I just recently got certified OW and am working on AOW through PADI. I have always wanted to learn to scuba dive since the mid-80's when i first learned about diving. It has been a life long dream for me to say the least. I bumped onto the website here and have been enjoying myself reading the comments, suggestions and the like. Well, i hope to have more interesting things to post on here in the hopefully near future, we'll see.

Oh, and if your wanting to go diving here in Puerto Rico and you will be doing so in the fajardo region of the island, please drop me an email i would love to go diving with someone.

Later
Frank

Hello there,

Glad to see a response. What brought me to Puerto Rico? Well, in a nutshell desperation. I had made some bad financial decisions while in the military forcing my wife and i to file chpt 7 bankruptcy. We could have stayed put in our home in TN, but lack of information caused me to panic and when my mother in law offered us tickets to come back here and stay with her, well we took them. Which was a HUGE mistake i must say. Oh well, lessons learned right. Fortunately, i was able to get VA to pay for my degree in business while here. Now that i am done with that, i am trying to find work anywhere. Our hopes are to get back to the states ASAP, but cant do so until i have at least saved up some more money or have a job lined up for me to go ahead (by the way, if any of you know of a job or are hiring please let me know, i can send my resume and fly there within two days; definetly will, and want to relocate).

In the meantime, i am trying to enjoy the beaches and waters here until we go. Diving and fishing will definetly help the time go by faster. I know some would give a limb to live here but, once you have been here for a while, youll understand why we want to leave. Oh, by the way we are not native to the island, wife is from Jersey and i am from N.Y. We just met here by chance, funny right. Anyhow, that is it in a nutshell; i wouldnt want to bore you with our story. Thanks for the welcome and maybe we can go diving someday if your ever in these parts.

later,
Frank
