Coming down in 4 weeks. Keep the water warm for us please. Looking to dive Playa, Playa, Cozumel and Cenotes. Recommendations on shallow <60 dives in Playa and Cenotes, bringing wife, and 2 kids age 13 and 14. All certified PADI open water this summer.

Well, i am the dive operator jajaja, specialized in cenotes, but we go as well to the ocean, both Playa del Carmen and Cozumel.
When was your last time in the Playa?? I am afraid to say it is not anymore a little town, but is still awesome...

Water temperature does not change that much, maybe few degrees, what changes is the air temperature, but i am pretty sure not that much as up there.
There are many shallows (less than 60 ft) and very nice dives around, in Playa del Carmen, like Tortugas, Barracudas, Sabalos, Jardines, Chunzumbul, etc.
Most of the cenotes are not deeper than 50 ft, with averages of 25-30 ft. like Dos Ojos, Chac Mool, Ponderosa, Tajamaha, Gran Cenote, Chikin Ha.
I am pretty sure you and your family will have a great time diving in Riviera Maya.
