Hello from LI,NY

I live on Long Island and have been certified for 11 years. I have approx 70 logged dives. Most of my diving has been in warm clear waters (Roatan, Bermuda, Cozumel). I did my AOW last year, Deep & Wreck this year. I am in the middle of Drysuit and Full Face Mask. I will be doing Nitrox next week. I want to start diving more in NY waters.

Welcome aboard. First certified NAUI in Setauket/Stony Brook in 1971, then PADI and NAUI advanced and Nitrox in 2008. Enjoying life in Austin Tx, a 2 1/2 hour hop to Cozumel Cancun ) Doing a lot of fresh water diving in Lake Travis down here just to keep in shape. Nassau Co, eh, no Fortunoffs here )

What LDS do you use?

I got certified in 97 with Port Diver. I lived in NJ from 98-2007. I did my AOW (2007) PPB (2007), Deep (2008) & Wreck (2008) with Port. I am currently doing my full face mask & drysuit with a local FD dive team. I will be doing my Rescue next spring with an instructor that is a member of my FD.

I may have to take a look at Tiedemann's, eventually I want to take advanced nitrox.
