Hello from Maryland
Just found this board while looking for a new wet suit. I live in Abingdon, MD (north of Baltimore) and I have been PADI OW certified since 2000. I have logged over 30 dives in multiple places (Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Belize, Cancun, Lake Rawlings, and Guppy Gulch). I have all of my own gear and I have done a few dives in the Chesapeake Bay as a volunteer for the Magothy River Association. I originally found ScubaToys.com through ScubaBoard.com when I was looking for a regulator and octopus. I hope that someday I can share a dive experience with some of you on this board.

Hey welcome to the board.... looking forward to your posts. How's Chesapeake Bay? I would think it would be really dependent on where and what the weather has been doing (rain, runoff, etc...)

The water visibility is anywhere from 18" to 3". I did one dive and couldn't even read the gauges on my console or my watch. Good thing the average depth of the Bay is around 8'.
