Hello from Brazil - sperafishing
Hello everybody from Scuba toys!
I´d like to share a little bit of information about spearfishing in Brazil. Specifically in Rio de Janeiro. Back here, we can go diving either with a boat or going out from a beach (most common). The are some diving points that are very famous: - Praia Vermelha - Lage do Lixo - Costão do Arpoador - Lage na Reserva - Ilha Cagarras - Ilha Maricás The fishes we are used to hunt are: - Garoupa - Sargo de Beiço - Sargo de Dente - Robalo - Tainha - Xerelete - Enxada - Anchova - Budião The best time to dive here is between November thru March. |

Teerlkay,
The anchova is not the same as anchove. It can get really big. Try looking for it in Google. You can click in this link: anchova - Pesquisa de imagens do Google |
