New member from Pennsylvania

I originally came to this site while I was in Egypt on a deployment. Since I am now home I decided that I would like to come back here and enjoy the group.

I started diving in July and received my OW on July 4th. The shop I started diving at was a little shop in Sharm el Sheikh called Anthias. The workers there are awesome.

I am now AOW and Nitrox certified. All my diving has been in the Red Sea. I have 4 night dives as well as some wreck dives and even a dive with Carmen and Camille who came to our base to perform for us and they wanted to try diving.

I am looking for more dive gear and cannot wait till spring when I can jump into the calm river that runs behind my house.

I have already been to the photos section and cannot say enough how awesome the photos are that the members here have uploaded...

Welcome Shaner. What part of PA are ya from? There are a bunch of us from Western MD, PA, WV on here that try and get together and dive every so often. If your interested, just keep an eye on the MADD forums for updates. Hope to see ya around!

I am from NE PA. Near Allentown.
There is a quarry or two around here I had thought about diving too...

My next goal is to get enough gear together and take my wife down under. She thinks she cant do it. I thought that too...
