Not from up there, but I try to come up and Dive Lake Okoboji once a year or so. My mother-inlaw lives on the lake... Nice place to visit, but the winters are pretty crazy up there. I was hoping to make it up there for some Ice Diving this year, but with two brand new babies that is probably not going to happen....

It would be a good little drive from Cedar Rapids (around 4 hours). For more info you can talk to the folks at Blue Water Divers. Nice people. I had the pleasure of doing some wreck diving with one of the owners in Lake Michigan this year. It was a strange coincidence. I just happened to notice the Okoboji t-shirt, and asked about it. Turned out he was the OW instructor for my wife and he mom. Phil
