Hello from Cyprus, Europe

Greetings from Cyprus people! My country is a small island in the Med., and one of the smallest of Europe. Even though I was reading a lot of posts in this forum in the last couple of months and I even posted a few times, I remembered that I didnt introduce myself. I must admit I am hooked from diving and I must blame the people in here for me wanting to shift from my Zeagle Ranger to BP/W! There is a wealth of information and knowledge in here! Thank you people of Scubatoys Forum!

Hello Demetris,

Welcome! Once, while I was going to the middle east, we landed in Cyprus. Security would not allow us to leave the plane and it being nighttime, I did not get to see much at all.

I would very much like to know about your diving areas and perhaps some pictures as well.

cheers

Welcome Demetris! I posted not too long ago asking where the European divers were on the forum as I wanted to ask about diving sites there, and we all commented that we had not met very many divers from Europe in our travels. Welcome.

Thank you all very much! In Cyprus and in the Mediterranean Sea in general there are warm clear waters which make it an excellent choice for training. Unfortunately, there not many fish but there are some wrecks and ancient ruins. Most famous wreck here is the Zenobia, which is considered among the 10 biggest ship wrecks of the globe. Been there a couple of weeks ago and it is really awesome.
