Hi all,
I'm a relatively new diver. Been diving for about four years, usually one trip a year. I'm loving it more and more and just got my first set of gear.

Welcome to the forum. My brother lives near the Twin Cities (Hastings). Mighty co-o-o-o-old diving up there.

Welcome to the board... I am sure if you are going to be doing any diving up there you will probably hit Lake Okoboji if you have not already... I am usually up there once or twice a year. My mother in law lives on the lake up there. Pretty good diving, just that boat traffic is CRAZY in the summer time...

Thanks everyone. Yeah, it's been a cold one this winter. We can't wait to get somewhere warm. I'm not sure if I'll be diving in this area anytime soon. Maybe I'll reconsider in the summer!

Hmmm.... that's a little more motivated than I am. I was snow kiting above the water on Saturday. Maybe someday!

Hi Jerlane and welcome to the board... you can see some very "cool" things diving in the winter time I never dived dry before coming to Japan. After living in Florida for so long one would never have thought I would have taken to it, but its been great
