Hello from Norman, OK

I and my husband were certified in December on our 20th Anniversary trip to Maui. It was wonderful. I have always loved the water and as little kid I thought it would be wonderful to be able to swim underwater and not have to come up for air. A dream come true.
We went to Cozumel last week with our 2 oldest daughters,it was great! We have 8 children. 5 of them already certified, the other 3 are half way done with the course.
Looking forward to fun family vacations! (Will have to save up for that!)

That sounds awesome! I am from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex area. I haven't gotten my certification yet but as soon as I can afford it I hope to because diving sounds like a lot of fun. My girlfriend's dad plans to dive in Cozumel, one of the places our cruise is going to stop. Got any dive suggestions for him? He also dove in Maui during a trip for their Anniversary and he said that it was fabulous.

I am really new to scuba so I don't feel qualified to give advice. But there is a thread just for Cozumel that I am sure you can find lots of advice and help there.
The diving in Cozumel was really great! We like it better than Maui but Maui is pretty great place too.
