Hey everybody... another Kansan here. I have lurked long enough so here I am to itroduce myself. I too am a defect from the "mother" forum!
Seems like a pretty friendly and fun bunch here. Some of you I know from the other place and hopefully I'll get to meet some new friends here too.
And I don't think I will get chastised for buying from ST.... right?

Welcome to the forum. As luck has it and given where you hang your hat, you're just a short jaunt to Oronogo. There's a group of us from the tri-state area that go there regularly. We have a 4th of july weekend dive planned. see ttp://forum.scubatoys.com/ddcn for the details. C'mon down!

I'm sorry but there is a Forum Rule that forbids the participation of KU fans here.

Actually, welcome aboard. This is a pretty friendly place and a couple of the contributors actually know what they're talking about.

Thanks for the invite Navy! Oronogo IS my main place to dive! I got certified thru them last year! Thanks for the Link!

Welcome....glad to have another Jayhawk on the forum. I live in MO, but I'm a die hard KU fan. I've been trying to convert as many Tigers as possible. Was successful with my son - helped when they won the national championship. My son actually went to the MU Basketball Camp a couple weeks ago and packed nothing but KU t-shirts. He said he got a lot of strange looks. The topper was the final day, they gave everybody MU t-shirts and were told they had to wear them. My son wore his shirt inside out, one of those proud times for a father.
