Hey everyone from Alabama!
Hey guys! This isn't my first post because when I first found this forum I was in bit of a rush for some last minute advice on a surgery that would allow me (I hope!) to dive.
ANyway my name is Michael, I live in alabama and usually the first thing people ask me when I tell them I'm taking diving classes is where the heck do you dive around here? I'm currently taking classes at a community college I changed my major from nursing not sure to what but I just realized how much I don't want to be a nurse recently. I've always wanted to be a scubadiver! I even remember the ones in the aquarium when I was younger so last year my 21st birthday (november) I saved all the money I got up for classes and signed up to take them around late march the first two classes went great but the 3rd made me visit a ENT to only realize I had a serverly deviated septum and that the only way I might be able to clear my ears properly is if he did surgery. Well the surgery is done and over with and i'm just taking it easy reading and researching now, the doctor seems to be a lot more confident now that I should have no problem clearing my ears. He told my parents that the deviated septum was a lot worst then he had thought, said that the bone probably grew crooked from birth and was putting a lot of pressure on my tubes that run to my ear Soo with any luck i'll get to see yall somewhere below the water one day soon! 1 month of recovery before doc will sign my release papers! |

Hi, Michael!
Hope everything goes well with your recovery...Stephen and Brian are very awesome instructors, and I'm sure the rest of your class will be fantastic. I'm at ABWA nearly every weekend, so feel free to stop by and say "Hi" when you see me....look for the gray Miata and the little red-head ![]()
