Hello,
I've been in Okinawa for 3 years and took up diving as soon as I got here. Okinawa is a subtropical island so there is diving year round. My two main pastimes are diving and riding my HOG. I usually do both on alternating weekends. I'm a master scuba diver (PADI), with specialty certifications in night, underwater navigation, search and recovery, boat, nitrox, peak performance buoyancy, and multilevel. I run a dive network on island with about 80 divers. If you happen to be coming to Okinawa feel free to contact me and we can set up some dives. |

Whats' up Blade? I traveled to Okinawa many time in the Navy but was not into diving then. Is the stick dog place still there about 2 blocks from the main gate of the military base? I assume you are there for military reasons but could be wrong. Best damn stick dogs ever.

I was on submarines and we would dock at some place called tangna pier. Not sure what the real name is. We would pull in Yokosuka Naval Base and Sasebo Naval Base also. Maybe the stick dog place is near one of them. We would pull in and pick up the Army Rangers and Navy Seals for underwater deployments Ops.
