Hi from Linden, NJ
Hello new friends,
I will be certified 1 year on 9/17/07. My husband will be 1 year this November. We did our 1st post certification dive together in Belize. Since then we bought a season pass to the quarry in Bethlehem Pa, called Dutch Springs. We've be honing our bouancy skills and overall confidence. We are interested in getting a camera and we are considering the SeaLife reefmaster mini, so if there's anyone out there with any advice on this we would certainly appreciate it. We also will be needing to complete oour gear with a BCD, so any thoughts on BCD's would also be greatly appreciated. Take a dive, leave only bubbles! Dee La Bee |

Welcome Dee La Bee, The SeaLife cameras are great if what you want to do is just jump in and start snapping away. You might find them a bit frustrating if you catch the bug and "get serious". They're a popular camera for hire so if you can try one before you buy then you're much better off. On BC's, whatever is most comfortable for YOU! Again, try as many as you can before you commit. I personally prefer the simple lines of a backplate and small wing but YMMV. Regards, The Fat One |

Welcome aboard... Renting is good advice if that is available. If you already own a digital camera, you might consider just buying an U/W housing for it too. Once you get your feet wet (so to speak :-)) you may end up going to something else ;-) That may be the cheapest way to try it.
