We're here

Hi,

So, we're in our late 40's, I'm about 4 years into the later than Pam. We snorkeled for about 6 years and have been to some nice snorkel places and were fine with snorkeling, but thought we'd give diving and shot to see if we were missing something, while we we're still young ... We've just certified in an Oklahoma lake, did 4 ocean dives in Destin, Fla., not much better than OK lake but we're probably spoiled due to Carib. snorkeling., and are going back to Bonaire next month, Pams favorite snorkeling spot, to really experience what this diving thing is all about. So far, all we know if that it is a lot more expensive than snorkeling, at least initially, that's why we don't have any dive equipment yet and that's why we're here. We'll do a lot of research before buying and this site keeps coming up as a good place to buy equipment.

Welcome and if you both still need gear, I would recommend that you both join the forum independently so that you can each earn the scuba toys gift certificates.
