Hi my name is matt and I'm a scubaholic.
I'm from biloxi ms I'm a full time college student after hurricane katrina blew my job away as a fire fighter for the small coastal town of waveland. Former EMT-B, Public Safety Diver, and Operation Iraqi Freedom Vet. I realized that emergency services wasnt the way to go so I'm in school right now to be a teacher! Look to shore dive in gulf shores cause its free!

hiya Matt, welcome to the board. I lived in Waveland from '80-'86, great place, really peaceful.
I dont know about shore diving in gulf shores, not much to see unless you go out pretty far. you may consider the cool (cold to me) florida springs. morrison is free, vortex is around $25 and both are not much farther than gulf shores, but again, not much to see.

Awww... Come on now. There's some good shore diving around here. Ya just gotta know where to look.

just got back from a very cold destin florida thanksgiving logged about 7 dives wanting to hit gulf shores again in january
