Swimming Salutations!
Swimming Salutations!
I discovered SCUBA in 2001 in St. Kitts, West Indies. It started with my first snorkeling excursion Christmas 2000. WHen I went back in 2001 I went on a boat and some 1st time divers came up in awe. The next day it was me. I've been hooked ever since. PADI open water certified 2002 PADI advanced certified 2005 PADI Rescue diver 2006 TDI Nitrox 2007 and this summer (2008)I am thinking about Dive Master. I dive mostly the caribbean because of family there. I've also been to Kauai, and Panama. My dream dive is a shark dive off Suva (Fiji islands) I volunteered at the GA Aquarium (largest in the world) for about a year, and am the Fish ID specialist for my dive club, Atlanta Underwater Explorers (www.diveaue.com) a chapter of NABS. Diving is my current obsession (planning to dive next month) although I only get to do about 2 dive trips a year. My favorite fish (in the ocean, not on my plate) is the Black Durgeon, and in general I like the mimic octopus, they are WAY KEWL! |
