Hello to all,
I'm a new diver on board and just wanted to soapbox for a minute about myself. I recently completed my open water PADI with Captain Rick McFarland from Columbus, Ohio. Great instructor, busy guy. I'm currently starting my advanced course with Capt. Rick and look forward to the Rescue Diver course. I am a retired State Fire Inspector. Was with the State Fire Marshal's office in Ohio for 26 years. Have been with 27 years and am currently active with M&M Vol. Fire Dept. where I am a Captain. Responsible for a Pierce Dash rescue pumper and all associated equipment. I have also headed up the Yearly M&M FD Harley Raffle for 13 years. We raffle off 2 Harleys after selling approximately 2,000 tickets. I take care of the ticket inventory, procure the bikes, go to local events with the bikes and tickets, achieve a yearly ulcer ...usually have a lot of fun.So far I have dove in St. Croix Cane Bay & Buck Island, Key Largo, Circleville Twin Quarries and Gilboa Quarry in Ohio. Looking forward to lots more diving and learning. I also have posted my home made Stihl powered Blender on here. Welcome any questions and encourage anyone to build one. Not that hard to do and a lot of fun. Stay Safe, Rick ![]()

Welcome to the board. Sounds like you are a very busy man. That is quite a blender by the way.

Thanks for the praise on the blender. I just picked up another Stihl motor the other day so am getting ready to do another one. Had lots of fun with one, can only imagine how much 2 will do!!! I think I'm a poet and don't know it.
