A Long Overdue Howdy from Nebraska!
So, having registered MONTHS ago, I figured it was about time I actually posted and said howdy!
My buddy Flatliner provided the invite to swing on over here. I'm also a member at DecoStop and ScubaBoard, as well as a few other specialized boards. I hail from Omaha, NE and have been certified for about 25 years now or so. Got certified when I was 13 thorugh the local PADI shop, but time and life got away from me and never did much with the cert. Last year, Flatliner decided, after 20+ years of being bugged by me, to get his c-card, so now I, at least, have a local dive buddy. At the same time he completed his course, his instructor ran me through a refresher and issued me an SSI card as well. Family still "conspires" against me having much diving time, but the interest has been revived, and hopefully I'll be in the water a bunch more this coming year. In addition to diving, I also have a hobby/side business with shooting and Tactical Gear. I sell gear and such to mostly LEOs and MIL guys. Happy to be on board and I'm looking forward to spending more time over here! Giff |
