Hello from Chicago
New divers here. 13 logged dives. Just had my 13 year old daughter certified, so I now have a lifelong dive buddy. Any suggestions for a couple begginers are always welcome.

Welcome cpdsgtal! daughter and I were both certified in september! wife (Disneymom on this forum) got her AOW when we got our cert... she's the 'senior' diver in our family!.... it's certainly a great experience to share as a family!!

I think you'll really enjoy this forum! it's great for divers of all levels of experience and a really great community.

Welcome to the boards. My 6 year old son wants so bad to be my dive buddy. Still gonna be a few years though. That is great that you have something that you can share with your daughter. You'll be life long friends as well as buddies for sure..

Welcome to the board.
Were you out at the Haigh this summer watching your daughter do her test dives ?
If so , we met that afternoon.
Why not come out to the Haigh as Dale stated for some diving.
Dale and I get out about every other week for a weekday dive, and have the Haigh pretty much to ourselves.

I live out in Schaumburg area myself. Getting your daughter certified is GREAT !!! I am sure your very PROUD of her !!!

As for suggestions . . . what are you looking for . . ??? Places to go . . now that is a subject I can help a bit with.
