You can get a new custom 5mm suit for less than $200 here. diveskin.net Hard to beat. I have two of them. pick your style suit, pick your color or pattern, virtually all options are included, shipping included, and it's a custom fit.

sometimes I have seen them at the end of a model year or going from spring to summer. But I don't think you will beat the ST prices though.

Can't speak for the quality, but here...TommyDSports.com | Wet Suits, Wetsuits, Scuba Gear, BCD's, Diving Fins and MORE!

That's the cheapest they come...probably because they can't spell anything right in their listing.

Listed as "women's" suit, might work OK for a male though....

In So. Cal. Prices here seem to be much lower then what others pay. One of the local shops sells 7mm suits for $100. THese are just "decent" quality in only the most common sizes and they do charge extra for XXL size. That's an "every day" off the rack price.

The next best price is Body Glove and you can get a really nice one that is very well made to about $160. Once a year the Body Glove factory has a sale and these same suits go for under $100 but only if you bring cash to the factory warehouse in Torrance CA. Typically in June there are some good sales on gear. There is a big scuba show in Long Beach and sales are based around that.

Body glove is not so popular outsie of So Cal. I think becausr BG does not sell to small retailers and has something like a 1,000 suit minimum. Hard to move so many wetsuits in Kansas

If you want a used wetsuit they are dirt cheap because they are hard to sell. $40 is the going price for a still servicable 7mm wetsuit.

Aluminum tanks are cheaper here too. I think due to transportation. Both Catalina and Luxfer are in So Cal. Some of the local shops buy at the factory.

What you do is schedule a dive trip out here to So Cal.. By equipment then take it home and help pay for the trip. I lot of people here think some of the best dives anyplace are right off the beach in So Cal.
