women's suits are cut more to fit their curves and with more of an indention at the waist.
Some women wear men's suits if the are taller than the average woman or if they not a standard wetsuit "size".

It's just something I've been curious about, I figured they might allow for breasts, but I had not given thought to the other curves. That does make sense.
Just a trivia question for me. My wetsuit is an Akona 3mm and a 7mm and like most mens suits are pretty straight forwards in the cut.

Until I bought my own wetsuit, I always wore a men's small. I liked it because it fit and the arms and legs weren't so long that they were all bunched up. I just knew it worked and since most of my conversations with the LDS (which is an hour away) were over the phone (and they were going to bring it when we met them at the lake) I didn't want to take a chance on anything different. When I finally decided to buy my own suit, I tried on a women's. What a difference!!!! I guess you just have to be a woman to know how much better it feels.
