silicone
for sealing windows etc. when dry it is waterproof, a bit stretchy and u can paint on it (!); ull find it in a hardware shop -> in plastic tubes with a plastic tip but ull need a special pistol -> not expensive; if u want thinner line cut less tip; if u want thicker line cut more tip; with some homemade tools u can make all sorts of lines and shapes; it is in 4, 5 colors only like white, black, gray, brown; the only question is will it glue to neoprene? or glue that comes in same tubes; it will glue to neoprene but probably u cant paint on it check also boat shops -> thay have all kinds of rubber based sealants for the hull

I use the paint markers from a craft store to draw a small scorpion on all of my hoods ...they last a long time, but you have to re-apply about once a year to keep it looking decent
(it's a long story/inside joke...but word to the wise, when diving in Texas shake out your hood or you will end up with a massively swollen face and loss of vision in one eye!) ...oh and I agree with a couple of the above posts, in my book the only acceptable colours for dive gear are black and stainless steel! But then again I've tasted the kool aid and it's good ![]() |

How about a gigantic sponge
so.. i am from teh south, and teh south loves camo.. but water camo is lame.. so why not make yourself look like a gigantic sponge or rock....
that way you can hiude, its al deep stippling. Using a stippling technique to push the paint into the cells will allow it to stay longer too.... the use of stencil stiff brushes makes it adhere better..... and there is a sealer that you can use .. trident makes a clear too........ julie |
