Tall women's suits

Just wondering if anyone has found suits that accomodate taller gals without getting them custom made?

ST lists the Oceanic suits as having a xxl which would fit but the oceanic site suggests their largest size (16) would only fit a 5'10" height.

All the rest appear to be largest size 5'10"....

I got my spearfishing suit made in greece to fit cos I'm tall and lean. Most big suits assume you are an ox! Perhaps we'll have to look at this again.

I should mention the height we're looking for is 6 foot and about 160lbs or kinda average build.

I was going to ask how tall you are but you told us here......I'm thinking @ that height(and weight) a custom one would be the way to go( as you did in the past)......Check with liquidfit.com out of Fl, Carolyn is the owner's name, and she seems to be very reasonable when it comes to prices.......good luck and hope you find what you need.......

Check out Henderson hyperstretch, too, if you can swing it.

My husband has the same issue. He is tall and thin. He is 165lbs and is 6'3". He tried on several suits at ST and found the Bare Progressive Stretch to be the best fitting. Here it is in the women's line. Bare Womens 3mm Progressive Stretch Suit, Wetsuits: Women, Bare, Bare Womens 3mm Progressive Stretch Suit And you can get it in a Tall lengths according to the website. Good luck!

BTW, Just thought I'd add that his is a MT in the men's sizes.

I second the Bare recommendation. They have a pretty wide range of size options.

Otherwise, custom is a great way to go. I'd check LiquidFit and WetWear.

Cheers, yeah the water is a chilly 6-12ish degrees celcius here all round, which is about 45-50F. So will need a thicker suit.

I did come across the liquidfit site. I got very lucky and found a guy to make my 2 piece 5mm camo suit for $140 ex shipping. This time around I'll expect at least 2x that...

Or plan a vacation to Thailand, where there are places that will make you a custom suit dirt cheap. Plus you get a vacation in Thailand!
