Mirazyme is great for anything that smells funky or musty, the shampoo if stuff gets dirty. So it really depends on what your gear goes through.
I guess we've never gotten our stuff really dirty in the lake or the ocean - 'cause we've just used the Mirazyme for years for cleaning all the gear. I have received compliments on the condition of both my wetsuit and BCD - after 5+ years, so the Mirazyme must be doing something right!

(Oh ... I just ordered the $8 bottle today from ST .... but somehow - by the time I checked out - my total was over $100!! Funny how that works!)

I've made two orders in the last week... each time adding more and more onto it.

It starts with trying to add on stuff to get free shipping... soon enough it's "ooo I could use one of those". I think that's why I have 3 knives now.

Its funny my wetsuit never really smells, it is my swimsuit after I dive that reeks to high heaven. I can't even begin to describe it, because the smell doesn't smell like neoprene or B.O. or pee or lake for that matter. It has taken a smell all of its own.

horrid really

Although I do wash may wetsuit after every dive. I only use shampo 2 or 3 times a year. the extra rinsinf is a pain. I have heard adding listerine to the wash helps with oder too.

Same thing happens to me. I don't feel so bad now.

Shampoo? Am I the only one that thinks rust stains improve the appearance of wetsuits?

I shampoo mine after every dive day- it still smells like new! Can't go wrong with the ST folks' recommendations!

My shorty always gets a delicate cycle wash after a multi-day dive trip...with a shot of Pinesol. It's still keeping me warm 4 years later so I guess no damage done.
