Panic! in my living room with a 5mm wetsuit! Ha,ha

OMG, today I received my Mares 5mm hooded ladies wetsuit in the mail...so I decided to try it on for size. I just put it on over my unmentionables, now its 98degrees outside and about 77 inside. and this is the first time I tryed a front zippered wetsuit. So I slip into it and it fits a little tight, so I'm getting a little warm as I walk to the bathroom to look at it in the mirror.. it looks good! now I'm getting HOT. so I try to take it off! EEEEkKK I can't get it off! I'm stuck! I can't breath...I can't contort my shoulders or arms out of this wetsuit..Panic, Panic. I feel trapped! like wearing a mental straight jacket! and not a soul in site! Just my DOGS lookin at me!
I'm getting hotter and hotter, I feel like running next door and askin the neighbor to help me out! So I just jump into the cold shower and fight my way out of this darn thing! This Mares 5mm front zip type. you do need a buddy next to you all times.

Ya my wife tried on her new 7 mil Henderson and she called me to help her get it off. I was across the street luckily.

At least you didn't have my experience..... Got a new 7m Henderson Gold Core suit, boots, gloves, and hood a while back. Of course I had to try it on right away, so I did... "Ding Dong", It's the UPS man with more stuff...

He didn't seem to be phased by a guy in a wetsuit answering the door, but I reckon those guys see all kinds of wacky stuff.

I am SO glad I wasn't drinking something when I read this. You would have owed my employer a flat screen and a keyboard!!!!

I will NEVER own a front-zip wetsuit, no matter how sexy they look with the zipper open to show some cleavage... just can't get the blasted things off without somebody pulling from behind. I guess I just have to hope I've got a sexy back instead, LOL.

wow never thought about that being a problem, now though I can see how it might, but I have to get someone to unzip me from behind too, the zipper sticks sometimes and its annoying. consequently I also have to get someone to zip me up. Thank goodness I dive with a buddy after all what are buddies for.

That's a definite downside to front zip wetsuits. Seems counter-intuitive, but it's definitely easier to doff rear zip suits without assistance.

Water definitely helps, though... good call on the cool shower.

Fortunately, since you always dive with a buddy (right?) this shouldn't usually be an issue...
