I have two pairs, one pair of "work" gloves that I bought at walmart, for around $10 that I wear for all dives that I can, when I didn't I grabbed a rock in the lake and got cut well.... a round of antibiotics later I bought them, for cold water a have a pair that I can pull the fingers off fold them back do what I need to, than pull them back over my fingers, but i don't dive in water that cold, water hits low 60's I'm done for the year. I am thinking about going dry thoe.....

x2. They take so long to get on if you don't have assistance, I often dive without them and deal with cold hands.

Mechanix Originals. 3 pair for about $30 on ebay, as opposed to $30 a pair for 'diving gloves' at the LDS that do not last as long.

I have the Tilos reef gloves, cheap and they work. They have a suede palm and a strechy microprene style hand.

I found these Cressi 2.5mm warm water gloves that I absolutely love. They truly "fit me like a glove". They are made of all neoprene with grippy nodules all over them. I don't really have a problem with cold hands, but I've worn them in temps down to 60 degrees with no problems.

So far I only have one pair. 3mm semi-dry. I really like them. Not as thick and I get gumby fingers.

I've got Pinnacle Karbonflex 4mm gloves and I love them. I dive them up here year round (down to the high 40's F) and they're great. Excellent dexterity and I haven't had any problems being too cold. I used to dive the Henderson Gold Core 5mm, but they were a real pain to get on and off and the Pinnacle's are just as warm in my opinion.

I dive with leather gloves here in California, a little colder than using your 3mm dive gloves but I find that for lobster grabbing I can feel the lobster better. When free diving I just use your garden gloves much better for loading your spear gun.

The Dry ones. I wear either no gloves or the drygloves attached to my dry suit.
