In the market for a wetsuit

Here is my delima, I'm going to spear fish alot so do I go ahead and buy a camo wetsuit or jut get a black/blue one?

For you guys that spear fish what suit do you use? I'll probably go 5mm farmer john style

I hate being tall and skinny. Finding tall skinny people stuff is hard.

I'm kind of curious about this - I've seen folks out in those 'camo' wetsuits...and my non-expert personal opinion is that you are not fooling the native marine life into thinking that the large, loud, bubbling thing is part of the reef... So what gives, does anyone fool the fishies with those camo wetsuits.

Somethings fishy.

Might sound a little "woowoo", But I have found I can often get really close to most fish by not behaving like a preditor. Don't stare wide eyed as you swim quickly toward dinner. Meander slowly, everting your eyes and even closing them often, soft slow and no problem little fishy. Pow!

Just saw a spearo camo suit that's designed to fit OVER your regular wetsuit featured in the latest issue of Dive Training. That may work for you.

Get a custom suit. They are cheaper than all but the cheapest non custom suits and superior in fit, which is the 100% most important thing. Diveskin.net is what I have used a couple times and I am thrilled with their suits. The camo makes zero difference in hunting. It looks cool though, and cost zero extra. If you get a custom suit you can choose a camo you like, or whatever color. Your camo suit will scare looky do divers is the only plus.
