Waterproof Brand Wetsuits

Hi,

My Wife just tried on a Waterproof brand wetsuit at a LDS and really like it. I've heard they are well made but no one is selling them for less than full list price (the LDS and only one on-line dealer that I can find). Any chance that ScubaToys might carry this brand in the future ???

Bob

a dive master i met once raved about her waterproof wet suit.
said they are made with women and their body's in mind.

it looked really nicely made and has a bunch of little features that make it more comfortable and loner lasting.

i was going to buy some wet suits from them myself but figured i might as well go with a dry suit for ease of storage, and then one is enough for all temps, while with wet suits you might need to purchase several.

Hope your wife likes it.

Is that the one that water rolls off?....If that is the one I saw Body Glove had those last year and this year Quiksilver had one in their line.

Everyone I know who owns one of these really loves them. Men or women, they are made to fit you.

Travelnsj,

No the Waterproof brand wetsuits are not insta-dry. "Waterproof" is the actual name of the company that makes them. They are standard neoprene but claim to be shaped in a way that makes them fit better. This is particularly true for women since most wetsuits tend to be unisex. My Wife really likes the one that she tried on and plans to buy it in the next few days. I seem to be a bit between sizes on the Waterproofs so plan to look around a bit more before I buy.

The only draw back to the Waterproof Wetsuits is that no one seems to sell them for a discount. I have found only one LDS in the area that carries them and one dealer on-line and both are asking full list price.
I'm hopeull that the guy foks at ScubaToys will begin carrying them in the near future !!!!

The other drawback is that you look like a dang power ranger in one.

[MAJOR] Styling issues aside, however, they are extremely well-made suits by all accounts.

This is the first I've heard of them. Looks like they have some nice features. Wish I had known about them when I was looking for a 7mm suit.

They've been around in Europe for a long time, and they have a strong following there. The company is based in Sweden. They're pretty new to the U.S., however. They've only had a presence here been for the past year or two, I believe... and have only started becoming a little better known in the past 6 months, based on the mentions I've seen online and at local shops.
